About ankita
From an early age I fell in love with creating. I'd take crayons and scratch them all over the verandah walls. My Mother had given up even trying to clean or repaint, because a new coat of paint on the wall was a brand new canvas to me. I fell in love with the idea of a clean slate and how its transformation into something else made me feel. From acrylic to watercolor I fell in love with all mediums. After a few years of inner turmoil related to technique, and perfecting my designs, I realized learning is a process, and if I wait for perfection I'll never be ready. Early 2015 I was diagnosed with an Auto Immune disease, and in 2018 it got worse. I quit my full time job and had to stay home. I think the last 3 years have been the toughest, making it hard to get around and do everyday things. It is then that I decided it was time to share my art and my story with you!
And so with dreams in my eyes, and a smile on my face I began the journey of sharing my wealth of design here - with you! So, Hi! and Welcome to my little bit of happy.
